Education

In the area of education, the HCF concentrates on both patient and physician education. We offer a 32-page Think Pink/Live Green pamphlet that was developed in conjunction with breastcancer.org and a VIVER Pocket Health Guide to Reduce Your Risk of Cancer. These publications are provided to over 1,000 men, and women on an annual basis.

We provide education to the physicians who care for patients with breast cancer and teach a Survivorship Experience Program to breast surgeons and surgical oncologist every year. The successful education of one physician in “Survivorship” can have a positive impact on hundreds of patients with breast cancer.
